Helping your light shine.

Garner Therapy Services aims to help our clients reach their fullest potential through high quality, play-based therapy and family involvement and education. We love to be a part of the process as skills improve, children become more confident, and families feel more comfortable with their child’s development.

Our practice was founded in 2003 by Christine Laney Adkins as Speech Language Services in response to needs expressed by many families about the difficulty securing convenient, timely, quality services for their children.  Amanda Garner joined the practice in 2008 and assumed ownership in 2014. These partnerships have allowed for expansion of services and the addition of several excellent service providers. It has been an exciting road filled with blessings. We offer speech, language, and occupational therapy services at our main office in the Old Harding Pediatrics building in West Meade/Belle Meade and at many preschools and independent schools throughout Nashville and Brentwood.

Amy has made speech therapy something my 6 year old daughter eagerly looks forward to each week. She has created a learning environment that is educational and play-based at the same time. The “homework” often has a game element or encompasses my daughter’s interests so that she remembers it and wants to complete it. My daughter walks in and says “Can we get started?” if Amy and I talk too long; she doesn’t want to miss a moment of her time with Amy!
